JEWELRY: Fused glass, and Dichroic
glass. Learn to make some of the most beautiful jewelry
anywhere. You will learn to make fused glass cabochons, BEADS, and
unique handmade glass to set into beautiful findings. A follow up
class will include setting your glass into silver or gold (casting
& PMC). This class Includes working with wire, silver
sheet, and findings. You will make several beautiful jewelry pieces

FUSING
101 New daytime
class, meets each week for 3 weeks, and also evening
sessions are
available.. The basics of
fusing, plus some more interesting ways to fuse glass. This
class will cover the basics of fusing, AND some incredibly unique
and new processes. This is an exciting class, for all levels (for
beginning to intermediate students). Learn to cut, fuse, slump,
make plates, bowls, vases, and more. You will work with
all types of fusible glass (opals, cathedrals, irids,dichroic) as
well as with frit, stringers and noodles. Come with
ideas, leave with beautiful glass! More class info and pics are

COLDWORKING GLASS: Cold & Bold! Working with grinders, saws, lap wheels, lathes, and
more. Learn the secrets of finishing your glass, sculpture
techniques, and more. This class is a "must" for anyone who works
with glass (cold, warm or hot)
FLOAT
GLASS (Fuse, slump, blast, etch). The wonderful FLOAT AWAY THE CAVE CREEK WAY.
Float glass is incredibly exciting. Use it to make large vessels
(bowls, sinks), as well as tables, windows, as well as beautiful
sculpture, fused pieces, tiles, and more. This is the first
class in a series. Learn to make "GlassHopper Fusion" glass.
More info below! This class is one of the most popular, and fills
quickly. It includes an introduction to sandblasting &
etching.
COMBING GLASS FUSED GLASS GONE
WILD! Open kiln formed unique glass. This
class is one of the newer techniques in fused and kiln formed
glass. It is EXCITING, fun, interesting,
and very different. Learn to make some beautiful and exciting
glass pieces. They can be turned into wall art, vessels, vases,
plates, platters, and more. See pics
below!
KILN CASTING
& MOLD MAKING Learn to make molds using traditional and NOT so
traditional methods. You will learn to work with clay, ceramic,
stainless steel, copper, and fiber paper to make unique molds. And
how to use "found" objects. Learn how to use the use molds to
slump, sag, drag, or bend your glass.
PATTERN BARS & THE
MAGIC GLASS BOX. This workshop will teach you one of the most
exciting and beautiful fused glass techniques. And it will teach you
an incredibly easy way to create beautiful pattern bars. Spend more
time making the beautiful art that comes from the pattern bars. As
intricate, detailed, or simple as you want, This class is fun, and
exciting. With this class,
you can make beautiful bowls, platters, sculptural pieces,
tableware, fine art, tiles, and more. You will learn to use all the
tools: grinders, saws, and more. Truly one of the most beautiful
methods in glassmaking.
FUSED
GLASS Taking
your glass making to the next level. In addition to working with the
fun glass, you will use micas, enamels, frit, firing paint, gold
pens, and metal inclusions. You will learn the basics of using
a sandblaster to etch, use airbrush for detail work, and many
other new and exciting methods. Also we will focus on the
"finishing" details, the part that gives your art that
professional finish.

Glass: "FLOAT AWAY THE CAVE CREEK
WAY". A combination of fusing, slumping,
carving, sandblasting, and more. Like to work BIG, small, slump,
carve? This is a very interesting class, learning to use float
(thick) glass. Much less cranky and less expensive than art glass.
Create beautiful glass furniture, tables, tiles, windows, gifts,
trophies, awards - you name it. Light it up even! This is my
personal favorite of all the
classes.
Fused
Glass
JEWELRY Learn to make dichroic & iridized glass jewelry.
Includes pendants, bracelets, cabochons,rings,and more. Make
glass jewelry, using all types of glass (not just dichroic). Learn
how to use fine metals (silver, gold, copper) to mount and show off
your jewelry. Learn how to make fused glass beads!
Taught by one of the best fused glass jewelry artists from Desert
GlassHopper Studio. BEGINNERS WELCOME! This is a great and fun
class.
Fused
Glass: "FUSING
GONE WILD". WOW A unique class,
not offered elsewhere. Learn to comb hot glass, make vitrograph
glass, pot melts & more. For ALL LEVELS, of students.
"Comb & stir" glass in an open hot kiln, to create unique glass
and turn that glass into something unique. THIS IS ONE OF OUR MOST SPECIAL & UNIQUE (not to
mention fun) CLASSES!
"HAVE
A BLAST WITH GLASS":
Sandblasting, sandcarving & etching. No
experience required. Learn the secrets of carving, etching
& blasting. Make beautiful jewelry, glassware, plates, platters,
sinks, gifts and more. For those who didn't know, you can
blast slumped and fused glass. We have added exciting new
projects! Make beautiful glass art, glasses, vases, gifts, and
more.
Fused Glass: "THE MAGIC GLASS BOX & PATTERN
BARS" Learn how to
make pattern bars (with ease), and how to slice and use
them. Learn about the "magic glass box". You will use glass,
metal & more. Results? INCREDIBLE works of art (tiles,
jewelry, platters, slumped pieces, jewelry and many one-of-a-kind
art pieces). FOR ALL FUSERS: This is a new easier
method of making pattern bars. A new way and easy way to
create & using pattern bars via the "glass box" method.
For those who don't know what you do with
pattern bars, you can do ANYTHING & everything! Jewelry,
slumped large glass pieces, plates, bowls, sculpture, lighting,
anything you can dream of. No experience
required.
Fusing:
"CROSSING OVER TO THE IRID SIDE":
This class is WAY COOL, & very
unique. This class teaches a special fusing method, using iridized
glass. Combing fusing, pattern work, sandblasting & (etching).
This class is for those who like creative thinking, and working in
3D. It is very interesting (and beautiful) way of combing the beauty
of iridized glass with etched patterns. For beginners to
advanced glass

BANDHU: This Grand
Master of glass teaches flamework and sculptural glass at the
finest art institutes in the world. However, we were thrilled to
have him join us for a multiday experience. Explore the
possibilities of crossing flamework with fusing, and using the
torch to expand your fusing abilities. Bandhu is one of the
masters, and author of several books. He has taught at
