We are COMPLETE glass art studio & learning center:  We offer glass workshops - for every level from hobby to professional level.  A comprehensive range of glass and glass art classes.  We teach glass art, functional glass works (furniture and more), furniture and glass design, carving & sandblasting, fusing, slumping, combing, sculptural glass, casting, and jewelry & beads. We welcome hobbiests, art students, glass afficianados, to professional glass artists.  We have something for everyone, and every level of ability.  Our instructors are some of the best and most experienced in the country.  We continue to push the envelope of glass art, and explore new uncharted territories.

10 KILNS: 

  • 24" Skutt Clamshell with controller,
  • 48" Bell with controller
  • Skutt GM10 kiln with controller,
  • System 96 Hot Start Pro
  • Various Even Heat Hotboxes, Rapid Fires, and Paragon kilns of all sizes

5 SANDBLAST & SANDCARVING UNITS: 

  • Bench top blaster with multiple tips (guns & pens). Great for intricate work, jewelry and more. 
  • Two Large Glastar cabinets, 1 siphon feed & 1 pressure pot media supply, variable psi (to 100psi), great for all sizes of projects. With 300 Dust collector.
  • Monument GlasStar Pass Through. Commercial grade giant size enclosed blasting unit. Large enough to allow door and window sized glass. Unlimited length - due to roller pass through. Pressure pot media feed.
  • Sandcarving / blasting booth (room) for LARGE glass
  • Glastar 3045 large blasting cabinet
  • Two Pressure pot(s) and multiple siphon feed units

COLDWORKING & FINISHING EQUIPMENT:

  • Large Covington Wet Belt Sander, with multiple grit belts.
  • Inland variable speed grinders
  • Inland Twin grinders with 6" lap disc wheel
  • BevelMax wet disc (12") and bevel machine
  • Large glass bandsaw (water jet fed)
  • Large 18" professional diamond wet lapwheel, with multiple diamond grinding wheels. Various polishing wheels for ultimate finishing of all glass work.
  • Professional tile and glass saw, sliding table, angle adjustments for mitre, angles, and facets. No size limit.
  • 2 Taurus Ring Saws.
  • Diamond Tech glass band saw
  • Large Glass polisher. Variable speed professional unit, designed to smooth, clean, finish & polish any type of glass (all sizes). Flexible to get into tight spaces.
  • Sanding, buffing, finishing tools of all sizes.
  • Rouges and polishing products (cerium oxide, etc)
  • Drill press - set up for water cooled glass drilling
  • Dremel power tools - set up for finishing, polishing, grinding, hole drilling and more.

TOOLS

  • Full line of glass tools - cutters, nippers, groziers, diamond core, running pliers, etc.
  • German professional quality circle cutting tools, from lens size to 24". 
  • Scalloping and edge chipping tools. Something to make those beautiful edges easier and professional looking.
  • Jewelry manufacturing tools - jewelers tools: saws, hand tools and other jewelry equipment. 
  • Rolling Mill: for working with metal and wire. Shapes and forms metal. 
  • Wire shaping, coiling and bending equipment & tools, jigs, and more.
  • Torches: used in shaping glass for fusing (minor burner, hothead, and mini)

MISC. ITEMS:

  • Photo Resist system for making templates for carving & etching. Can transfer monochromatic photos into a stencil that can be etched or carved into glass.
  • Computerized plotter & cutter. Graphtec professional (large size). For making custom stencils and patterns for professional etching, blasting & carving.  State of the art graphics technology. Used with Adobe PhotoShop and Corell Draw.
  • Airbrush systemsCompressor fed air for additional techinques in using airbrush with glass products.
  • Special products for glass design and building. Glass Adhesives and glues strong enough for furniture, glazing, joining, cleaning, and more.
  • Findings & BeadsLarge collection of findings and finishing items for jewlery.  Sterling silver, copper, gold, and more.
  • Silver Soldering: for making silver bezels for mounting of cabochons.
  • Enamels (fire and non-fire), micas, metals, and more.

GLASS:

  • Full line of 96 C.O.E. fusible glass.  Spectrum, Uroboros, Bullseye, Wasser, and more. From small to full sheets of all colors, textures and patterns. Including the recently released new colors.  Hand and machine rolled.
  • FRIT, Noodles, stringers, and vitro stringers.  In various glass types (96, Float, & Borosilicate). 
  • DICHROIC GLASS:  We use and carry dichroic glass from CBS,  and Austin Thin Films & Infinite: 96, FLOAT, & borosilicate. Sizzle sticks, patterns, clear and black back, decals, and more.
  • FLOAT GLASS: all sizes and thickness, including starfire, & dichroic float glass, frit, and new colored float glass 
  • ART GLASS:  Non fusible glass. We have art glass available for use in different types of slumping projects.
  • METALS:  Precious and Fine metals, foils, gold, silver & copper for inclusion or finishing.
  • Mica's, Enamels, Hanovia and Halo Paints & Lusters for firing and embellishing glass.

This list is not complete by any means. But it gives you insight to the extensive equipment, tools, supplies and investment we have in our facility.  This is more than just a bead or jewelry studio or classroom.  We offer a complete line of glass courses, to suit everyone's needs and desires.
