We now have two beautiful studios
& a gallery, to work and teach in. Both are unique, fully
equipped, and offer some wonderful and surprising things not found
in any other glass workshop center. Such
as........ room service, five star hotel, swimming pool,
restaurant, entertainment, fascinating artistic and cultural
enviornment.

2006: Desert Glasshopper Studio has
MOVED!
Desert Glasshopper Studio has finally moved into our fabulous
new studio at the Carefree Resort & VIllas.. This move allows us
to offer more workshops & more often. Weekly studio time, and
one of the most incredible workshop facilities anywhere. We
will be offering world class workshops, and
accomodations. Workshops and classes for everyone
(beginning through professional). Our new home is at the
fabulous. And we offer day & evening programs.

The "Carefree
Inn" as locals call it, began life in the 60's as a 5 Star
hotel. Home to many of celebrities of the day: Bob Hope,
Lucille Ball, Dick Van Dyke, Amanda Blake, Hugh Downs, Marilyn
Monroe, and many others. Recently, West Paces Management
has taken over the facility and is turning it into a beautiful new
western and art experience (for guests and the public). When
you think of the Ritz Carlton, think West Paces Group. This
beautiful hotel is being brought to life with a new focus and
passion!The Cultural & Destination
Activities Center at the Carefree Resort is where you will find
our studio and workshop. We will have a beautiful new workshop,

REDBIRD Studio
This studio is our "professional"
studio. Here you will find one of the best equipped glass
coldworking facilities in the West. In addition to advanced
coldworking equipment, we have multiple kilns (large size), kiln
casting, sandblasting, and much more. We have a large working and
design area. All air conditioned for summer comfort in our desert
heat. This studio is set in the pristine area of the Sonoran Desert,
with beautiful view of Pinnacle Peak.
