We have created a fantastic facilty,
that brings much more to the kiln (and table, so to
speak). DESERT GLASSHOPPER STUDIO
offers classes in Fire & Fusion glass techniques, as
well as sandblasting.
Peggy & Mike have worked
in glass for several years. She has studied and worked with some of
the most respected and known glass artists. Her main
interest & studies are fused (warm) glass, and the art of
sandcarved glass.
Mike enjoys the structural
and architectural creations in glass. Mike's background and training
is in engineering. Failure design & analysis.
Peggy has created a
unique process. This process and technique has set her work
apart from other glass artists. Her art (and teaching) are
"cutting edge", breaking paradigms, but not glass!
Her work is in demand by galleries around the USA.
New galleries are inquiring frequently about carrying Peggy's glass
art. In addition, she has worked with several
top interior designers. Peggy has been commissioned to create
beautiful and unique custom glass art (& furniture) for exciting
projects around the USA. Check out the PICTURES on our special page, and also on our other website:
